Band Puts PTSD Awareness In Your Face

There are many people out there trying to raise awareness of Veteran Suicide and PTSD. I am one of them. Not many however do what needs to be done and cross the line to give you the SHOCK FACTOR that is needed. Sometimes it just has to be in your face, gritty, shocking and over the top before people will pay attention.

FFDP has taken a step in the right direction with this video. I know a boat load of keyboard commandos out there are going to get their panties in a bunch and be uber butt hurt over this. I don’t really care. The song is still BAD ASS and the video is AMAZING! GREAT JOB FFDP!

This Memorial day, Thank a Veteran. Take of your damn hat and stand for the National Anthem. Show some damn respect. 22 Veterans commit suicide everyday. 22. Way to many.

Message to ISIS, ISIL, or Whoever You’re Calling Yourself this Week!

Message to ISIS, ISIL, or Whoever You’re Calling Yourself this Week!

I’ve been hearing all this talk for days now about these communist bastards threatening to seek out American Veterans and kill them. Well, I have finally snapped! I don’t know why, but that seems to be the main topic with the talking heads on the news this morning and it has put me over the edge!

My name is Camilo Andrade, I don’t write under an alias like many do, this is me! I live in Virginia and a little homework will bring you right to my front door. If you’re too damn stupid to find me from that in this information age, you don’t concern me, you’re obviously an idiot and will eventually end up turning yourself into shrapnel and spread across the desert somewhere. Moron!

Let me tell you about your prize. I am a United States Marine Corps Sergeant and a retired Federal Law Enforcement Officer. I have a butt load of health problems, a prosthetic hip and another that needs repaired. I don’t move as fast as I used to, or I would come hunt your chicken sh*t ass down instead of inviting you to come after me.

Make no mistake about it though, I am still quite capable of defending myself and would much prefer you give me the opportunity to rip the jugular vein out of your throat with my new set of dentures instead of forcing me to shoot your silly ass.

You have threatened the wrong group of people and picked a fight with an adversary you are just not prepared to deal with. I don’t know a single veteran in this country that is afraid of you and your empty threats! We are not like the fools you are used to fighting. We do not beat our women and strap bombs to our children. We stand toe-to-toe with our enemies and look them in the eye as we drain the life from them! Before I send you to meet your maker in hell, you should know all that stuff about 72 virgins you’ve been promised, it’s BULL SH*T! I’m certain of it, the Marines have been in the Middle East for years now and we freely roam the streets of Paradise and scare the hell out of Satan… There is NO WAY the Marines have left any virgins… Definitely not 72 of them…

So, either come after me, or STFU! Your best bet, if you want to see tomorrow, would be to take your ass home and get all your friends to start Tweeting apologies and lay down your arms. American Veterans are NOT afraid of you and our active duty brethren, well… Eventually their boots will hit the ground and when they do… Your family tree is going to be missing some limbs!

Just A Common Soldier - In Honor of Memorial Day 2015

We Americans are blessed to live in the greatest country on earth, where we are able to enjoy freedoms that most can only dream of. But that freedom comes at a terribly high price—something we all need to be reminded of on Memorial Day.

This holiday, while you gather with family and friends at picnics, barbeques, and pool parties, please pause to reflect on the brave men and women who gave their lives protecting our country and be sure to thank their surviving family members, for they have sacrificed greatly as well.

Just A Common Soldier, also known as A Soldier Died Today, is one of the most popular poems on the Internet. Written and published in 1987 by Canadian veteran and columnist A. Lawrence Vaincourt, it now appears in numerous anthologies, on thousands of websites and on July 4, 2008 it was carved into a marble.

A Marine Just Stood Up To ISIS In The Most EPIC Way, Every American Needs To See This

A Marine in Texas started a patriotic movement in response to a recent shooting by Islamist radicals that left an officer wounded and two terrorists dead. His community just reminded terrorists why you don’t mess with Texas. This is so inspiring!

Senior asked to take down American flag, school responds

A high school in York County has spoken out after students protested Thursday morning when a senior said he was asked to remove an American flag from his pick-up truck.

Thursday morning, several students, parents, and veterans protested the incident, many setting up across from school grounds waving flags. "When I hear that you can't fly the American flag it makes my blood run red, and my blood is red," said Vietnam Veteran Michael Douglas.

Just before noon Thursday, officials at York Comprehensive High School said Peyton Robinson and other students could keep the U.S. flag on his vehicle as long as no driving hazard exists. Parents who were part of the demonstration called the decision a win. "We're just glad we got this victory today, and it just proves if you stand up for your country, you stand up for what you believe in, things get changed," said James Crump. "We fought for it, I fought for it," said Patriot Guard rider Mark Ludwig.

"Due to the outstanding display of patriotism through peaceful demonstration, it is apparent to us that many are not happy about this policy," the school district posted on its website. "School officials have reviewed the standing policy regarding flags and have decided that an exception will be made for the American flag, as long as the size of the flag(s) does not create a driving hazard." "We appreciate the passion and pride of all who have called or come by YCHS over the past 24 hours.

America was founded by Patriots who led positive change in a myriad of ways," the district continued. "We believe today is a great example of peaceful demonstration leading to positive change. This is the very process we advocate in our Social Studies classrooms and the fabric of American citizenship.

Thank you for helping us as we educate the students of our community." Crump said he felt the district's move was a good start for a middle ground. School leaders have not defined what size flag might make for a 'driving hazard.' "Now if the school wants to let them display their flag a certain size, we need to, as parents and students, agree to stay within that limit, you know, boundary," Crump said. Initially, school district officials told students they couldn't have any physical flags on their cars because of safety.

Administrators said it was a pre-existing policy that was announced again Wednesday. The school leaders called it a safety concern. "Anytime you get a flag of any kind flying, it creates a visual distraction," said York Comprehensive High School Principal Christopher Black. "Just proud to be an American," 18-year-old Robinson told WBTV Wednesday night. Robinson said a school administrator told him remove the American flag and the POW-MIA flag, which he has in the back of his truck.

"He said we're having some issues. Some people were complaining about the flags in your truck, possibly offend them. He asked me to take it down," Robinson said. The high school senior, who has several family members who served in the armed forces, was upset because he didn't see the problem.

"I'd understand if it was the Confederate flag or something that might offend somebody," Robinson said. "I wouldn't do that. But an American flag - that's our country's flag. I have every right to do it. I don't see a safety issue.

I mean I understand it's a big flag - it's 4 by 6 - but nobody has ever complained about it being in their way or anything." According to Robinson, a school administrator told him to remove the flags when he got home, and not come back to school with them.

But the 18-year-old said before the school day was over on Wednesday, a school official went to Robinson's parked truck, removed the bolts that secured the flags to the truck, took the flags down, and "laid my flags down in the middle of my truck when I wasn't even there."

Robinson was angry.

"I was pretty mad," he said. "I don't see how it's a problem. Nobody has ever complained about it before." The senior took to social media and posted about the incident on his Facebook page. Fellow students vowed to stand with Robinson, flying flags on their cars when they arrived at school Thursday morning. Despite being initially told he was not to come to school again with flags flying on his pick-up, Robinson says he plans to do what he's done for the past month - display his flags. He called Thursday a victory, and added that he's glad others stood behind him, and more importantly that he can show his true colors. "I'm really surprised all these people showed up and I'm really appreciative of all the support from everybody, I had no idea it would get this big," Robinson said.

Like Father, Like Son: The Man Ted Cruz Calls 'Hero'

WASHINGTON -- During a time in our society when the family is often under attack, it's refreshing when someone like Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, calls his father, Rafael, his hero. They both have a lot in common. Sen. Cruz's presidential campaign is marked by his signature fiery rhetoric.

Could it be that he gets that passionate streak from his 76-year-old father?

This seems to be a classic "like father, like son" scenario: two generations of passionate Christians who overcame huge odds, with the son - an almost unknown candidate - becoming a U.S. senator, thanks in part to a father who had it even tougher.
