THE MOST VIRAL VIDEO FOR 2014

Because the more Americans understand the message of conservatism, the faster we can change course. We have a chance in less than 100 days to begin that process.
There are 530,000 elected offices in America. Every one of them is important. And every one can help propel the conservative wave.

Gun exec’s bold message to Holder: ‘I’d destroy my smart-gun technology before I let the government use it against the American people.’

There’s a revolutionary new gun safety technology that you would think might be embraced by Second Amendment supporters and gun control advocates alike. But then you haven’t been following the cynical means by which politicians will seize on even safety advances to push regulations that serve their political ends.
So argues author and editor of American Hunter magazine, Frank Miniter, in his new book “The Future of the Gun.” The cutting-edge safety advance in question is so-called “smart-gun technology,” whereby when applied, a gun will only function if handled by its owner. Miniter writes:
Smart guns theoretically offer a way for a firearm to be personalized so it will only work for an “authorized person.” Engineers working on smart guns have already tried things like radio-frequency identification (RFID), fingerprint-recognition systems, and magnetic rings to keep an unauthorized person from firing a gun.
The benefits to such a technology are self-evident. Parents would no longer have to worry about children getting their hands on firearms, and guns stolen from officers and civilians would be rendered harmless.

But while smart guns in and of themselves may seem desirable, Second Amendment supporters fear the threat of a government mandate of the technology. In “The Future of the Gun,” Larry Keane of the National Shooting Sports Foundation tells Miniter:

ROBIN WILLIAMS DEAD

Comedic actor Robin Williams died at his Northern California home Monday, law enforcement officials said. Williams was 63.
Coroner investigators suspect "the death to be a suicide due to asphyxia," according to a statement from the Marin County, California, Sheriff's office.
"Robin Williams passed away this morning," his media representative Mara Buxbaum told CNN.
"He has been battling severe depression of late. This is a tragic and sudden loss. The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time."
Williams married graphic designer Susan Schneider in Napa Valley, California, ceremony in October 2011. Schneider sent a written statement to CNN through the representative.
"This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken.

See what happens when James O’Keefe crosses the border wearing Osama bin Laden mask

Investigative filmmaker James O’Keefe has produced another head-turning video and this time his undercover project has taken him to the U.S. southern border.
O’Keefe’s Project Veritas videos have been controversial at times – in this one he crosses the border wearing an Osama bin Laden mask.
A montage in the video reminds viewers of how some politicians think the border is secure.
O’Keefe talks with Hudspeth County, Texas, Sheriff Arven West at the spot where the border fence abruptly ends, morphing into posts strung with four rows of barbed wire.
“That’s the dead end right there,” West said.
O’Keefe passes back and forth across the border unnoticed. He discovered a footbridge where the border could be crossed without even getting wet.
“I see no border patrol. I see no security,” O’Keefe said in the video. “Thousands of people have stood in my footsteps right now. They’ve come from South America, Honduras, Guatemala, and they’ve all crossed the border. And if they can cross, anybody can cross.”
Proving that terrorists could come into the country unchecked, O’Keefe donned an Osama bin Laden mask and asked, “Do you feel safe?”

Chick-Fil-A Punished Again, This Time By Michelle Obama

You’d think that Chick-Fil-A had seen its last battle with society for a while.

Think again. They just garnered a new enemy – The White House.

It comes in the form of the awesome school lunch program implemented by First Lady, Michelle Obama.

Once again the ambassadors of the best chicken sandwich you’ll ever have are under the cross hairs affecting their bottom line.

According to new regulations, snack foods served in public schools are required to have less than two hundred calories. This even includes food from vending machines, lunch rooms and other campus food venues.

Less than 200 calories? So kids will just eat more, and get the same amount of calories.

This spells bad news for students at South Carolina’s Socastee High School. The bad news has just been broke to them that Chick-fil-A will no longer be sold on their campus.

Not only was this a great way for the students to get real, and tasty food, but sales of the sandwiches also went toward funding school trips.

“The Chick-fil-A profits went directly to the field trips…We’ve got to raise some money, but we will figure something out.” Says the school principal.

Like most things implemented by the Obama administration, this new lunch program as well, has been met with much resistance. Many schools are flat out rejecting the new meal plan standards, despite legally having to adhere to the new law.
