Watch the master cut video of all 26 celebrities participating
Drenched and freezing for a cause! Scores of celebrities joined the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge over this past week to help raise money and awareness for Lou Gehrig's disease. Here, Us Weekly has compiled a master cut of your favorite celebrities, like Justin Timberlake, Chris Pratt, Jennifer Lopez, and Oprah, participating in the viral campaign.
"All right, you can see here. I am accepting the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge," Timberlake said. "I am ready for the ice now," Oprah said, before letting out a scream. Other celebrities to partake in the challenge included Taylor Swift and pal Jaime King.
Chris Pratt guzzled a Smirnoff Ice while getting doused from above. Martha Stewart, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, and Selena Gomez also took part in the campaign, along with a bikini-clad Iggy Azalea, Kylie Jenner, Chris Brown, and Drake.
Tech bigwigs Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates also partook in the challenge. "I want to accept this challenge, but I want to do it better than it's been done," Gates joked, before creating an elaborate design.
NBA champ LeBron James let out a rather loud scream for a man of his height (6'8'') and weight (250 lbs). Master spoofer Weird Al Yankovic remained silent as ice water was poured over his head. Lena Dunham, meanwhile, let out a rather painful scream after the ice cold liquid hit her bathing suit-clad body.
Tyler Perry, Robert Downey Jr., Conan O'Brien, Keith Urban, and Matt Lauer also joined the cause. Elizabeth Banks stood in her shower and poured ice water over her head. Teen heartthrob Ansel Elgort stripped down to his swim trunks as he dumped water over his shirtless body.
"I'd like to nominate the New York Jets to do this," Jimmy Fallon said before he, Rob Riggle, Horatio Sanz, Steve Higgins, and The Roots dumped ice buckets of water over their heads on his show. "You have 24 hours," the Tonight Show host said as he screamed in a suit.
The challenge has raised a whopping $15.6 million in donations for the ALS Association so far, as opposed to the $1.8 million it raised within the same time frame last year. "These donations have come from existing donors and 307,598 new donors to The Association," the ALS Association shared in the press release distributed Monday, Aug. 18.

The Guy Fawkes Mask
The Guy Fawkes mask is a stylised depiction of Guy Fawkes, the best-known member of theGunpowder Plot, an attempt to blow up the House of Lords in London in 1605. The use of a mask on aneffigy has long roots as part of Guy Fawkes Night celebrations.
A stylised portrayal of a face with an over-sized smile and red cheeks, a wide moustache upturned at both ends, and a thin vertical pointed beard, designed by illustrator David Lloyd, came to represent broader protest after it was used as a major plot element in V for Vendetta, published in 1982, and its2006 film adaptation. After appearing in Internet forums, the mask became a well-known symbol for the online hacktivist group Anonymous, used in Project Chanology, the Occupy movement, and other anti-government and anti-establishment protests around the world.

Police give Ferguson store owners run-around !
Molotov cocktails, looting and a few tense standoffs — between police and protestors and between protestors and other protestors — marked Friday night in Ferguson, Missouri.
As chaos swept the town, some store owners and protestors took it upon themselves to defend stores from looting.
“There are no police,” one store owner told KTVI-TV, saying that local law enforcement was giving store owners a run around, forcing him to take up arms to defend his store.
Peaceful demonstrations turned violent in Ferguson Friday as protestors descended on the town to decry the recent shooting of an unarmed young black man by a police officer.
The Violent First Night of Ferguson’s Curfew - Reel News Report
At first, it seemed like protestors might disperse peacefully and go home before the midnight curfew, imposed by Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon, came into effect in the St. Louis suburb of Ferguson Saturday night.
They didn’t.
“The curfew is going to make things worse,” protester Phones Scott, 24, told Reuters Saturday evening. “I think the cops are going to get violent tonight, but they can’t lock us all up.”
Police arrested seven people and deployed tear gas to disperse crowds, but it seemed to be the protestors who got violent: The Associated Press reported that one person was shot in a restaurant under unclear circumstances (but police said they were not involved in the shooting), and in another case someone fired on a police car, though no cops were reported injured.
Police officers man their positions in front of Ferguson businesses just after 10 p.m. on West Florissant Avenue on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014. A curfew was to go into effect at midnight. (AP Photo/St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Robert Cohen)
